We bet you don’t know what will make us extra happy here at Horsefeathers Roadhouse as we all move quickly into 2015? It is a simple answer; our goal is to put a big smile on the face of every single person who comes through our door – that is the goal of the friendly HFR folks who all want to make each and every visit special with great bar offerings and country BBQ each and every time you pay us a visit (Our homemade Chili and our famous hand packed cheeseburgers pictured).

We know many of our music-lovin’ patrons were watching when Craig Wayne Boyd made country music history by winning The Voice 2014 finale just before Christmas. Of course, being named the Voice Champion required changes for Boyd – a spiffed-up hair style, more bling, fancier clothes, professional song arrangements, and glitzy staging. He is hittin’ the big time now. Change is good. We here at Horsefeathers can also relate to making changes for success. And we are doing it in the New Year as we feature our own Voice every single week with live entertainment when Dan Campbell, Gringo Outlaw, Grub Works, and HFR Chiliother local bands stopping in to play their hearts out.

Since opening our doors in 1996, we have improved our 8,000 ft. establishment in lots of different ways as well in order to bring smiles to everyone around Lake Norman; here are just three of them:

  • The HFR menu now has more BBQ choices than ever, featuring unique smokehouse specialties that are smoked right here on the premises, along with a wide variety of southern appetizers, entrees and drinks.
