Horsefeathers Roadhouse and Park is located in Sherrills Ford, NC, about a mile north of Hwy 150, just east of the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Rd. and Little Mountain Road. You can’t miss it – the red letters of “HORSEFEATHERS” are eleven feet tall on the tin roof of the building!

What is Horsefeathers Roadhouse? Quite simply, it’s a fun place to eat and drink – the home of good times in Sherrills Ford. It’s a restaurant, bar, sports place, game room, and it has a large outside seating area in a park-like setting. It’s a place for great Southern style country food, featuring serious BBQ from our own on-site cooker and smokehouse – the largest in the Lake Norman area. Horsefeathers Roadhouse has an outdoor seasonal deck (2100 sf) that overlooks a two acre park encompassing 390 feet on a Lake Norman cove. This is the place where the service is stellar, the prices are fair and the atmosphere is always relaxed and fun.

Get in the car, hop on the bike, and make that trip from nearby Charlotte, Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Kannapolis, Hickory, Lincolnton, Denver, Maiden, Lenior, Newton, Mocksville, or Statesville to visit Horsefeathers Roadhouse . The experience is 180 degrees from the chain restaurants up and down I-77 or NC 150. You can taste the best barbecue food around Central North Carolina (some folks call it bar-b-que), made on-site in our own smokehouse. We also have a wide selection of pub food, dozens of craft beers and old favorites on tap every day of the week. Come and hang out with friends on the outdoor deck we call the “Corral” that overlooks our own park on Lake Norman. Bikers and classic car enthusiasts are always welcome!
HOURS: Open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until midnight; open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m.
Sundays we open at Noon and close at 10 p.m.
